Laurella was born and raised in Prince George, BC, moved to Calgary in her twenties for college where she met her husband Trevor.  They have now lived in the Robson Valley for over 21 years.

In their time there, they have raised three amazing kids and continue to parent them as they prepare to launch from home and find the paths God uniquely has for them. Her time with them and many other children and youth over the years has cultivated so much personal growth and learning.

 

Walking alongside children and youth in their hurt, struggles and successes has been an incredible blessing while also incredibly hard at times. Throughout it God has created in Laurella a deep desire to continue to walk this road with the children and youth in the Robson Valley supporting them, and creating experiences and places to help them thrive.

They will continue to follow his leading and continue to take each step as it comes. The Gaberts care a whole lot for the children in the Robson Valley, who they become and how they influence their world, and how the reach their God given potential!​
